The men behind SurvAid
have made major difference in the industry before: They have
founded Confirmit, today world’s leading online research tool in
the world (almost 50 million interviews annually) and
Feedback Research (Now Research Int. Norway) that in 10 years
became one of the leading
Norwegian research companies.
Bjørn Haugland:
Bjørn has quite a varied high level expertise.
Bjørn has many years experience as both a quantitative and
qualitative researcher.
During his years as owner (and founder) of Feedback Research, he
was managing projects for Pepsi-Cola and many other FMCG and
medical companies. He coordinated all research for SAS
International Hotels all over Europe for many years. During
these years he was also conducting 100’s of group discussions
and qualitative studies. He was also used as a strategic
consultant for many of his clients top management.
During his years as founder, owner and managing director of FIRM
he gained valuable experience as an international business
developer, developing subsidiaries in London, New York, San
Francisco and Stockholm as well as a new main office in Bermuda.
System development was of course a vital part of the business
plan, and to convert customers need to system development
specifications was essential for FIRMs very rapid development.
Being sales responsible and Global Key Account Manager for many
of the worlds largest research companies (AC Nielsen, GfK, NPD,
Ipsos, Greenfield Online) he also consulted (and learned) many
different research operation processes. He is obsessed by
reusage of resources and automation of processes.
This combined experience as a researcher, consultant and
software developer all on both national and global levels, have
given Bjørn an unique combination of skills of quickly seeing
and advice and implement business opportunities and operational
process gains.
Even Haug:
Even has many years experience from the market research software
industry. He worked many years as a Key Account Manager with
FIRM, responsible for all Nordic market research companies, Even
helped these companies develop and implement new, efficient and
innovative solutions for conduction online research.
Even was also a Key
Account Manager for many of the largest corporations in
Norway when working with FIRM. Part of the job being a Key
Account Manager was to help these companies develop
automated and efficient solutions for conducting all kinds
of surveys, both internally, among customers and market
surveys. Some of the companies he worked with was Telenor,
Storebrand, Siemens, DnB NOR, TINE, Skatteetaten, Norsk
Tipping, Manpower and IBM.
Even has a Master in Marketing Management from the Norwegian
school of Management, School of Marketing. He graduated in
1999. Even founded SurvAid together with Bjørn in 2004.
